Zoo |
The Zooniverse is a zoo owned by Dixon Bainbridge; the crazy explorer with even crazier ideas. Despite owning it he only appears at important zoo-related events but does not take anything particularly seriously, probably because he knows as the rich owner of a zoo there is nought that anyone can do about it.
The zoo is managed, however, by Bob Fossil who has very little experience with animals and can never remember any of their names and is forced to describe them to someone so they can tell him the animal's name. There are a few zoopkeepers, such as Vince Noir and Howard Moon who both spend most their time in the zoo itself and have no other social life, and Mrs Gideon who looks over the Reptile House and is also Howard Moon's love interest.
In the radio show, it was managed by Fossil and called "Fossil's Fun World".

There are only a few animals and staff in the zoo, but luckily there is also only a few visitors to notice.

Strange Events
Weird events have often occurred in the Zooniverse, and by often we mean most episodes. The following is a list of those events:
- An evil kangaroo loses a boxing fight to a zookeeper. (Killeroo)
- Animals start disappearing one by one. (Mutants)
- Dixon Bainbridge has a secret lab where he creates a group of mutants which are saved by Vince and Howard. (Mutants) However in the radio show it was Fossil keeping the mutants in his laboratory.
- Bollo the gorilla falls very ill and starts to die. (Bollo)
- Howard dresses up as a gorilla and is taken away by death. (Bollo)
- Howard and Vince compete with Dixon Bainbridge to find the Egg of Mantumbi (with the help of Gary Numan. (Tundra)
- The Zooniverse is going to be sold by Dixon Bainbridge so obviously the only way to stop it being sold is to search the jungle for Tommy Nookah. (Jungle)
- The zoo's pandas won't mate with each other so it was Howard and Vince's job is to make the panda jealous so that the two mate. (Charlie)
- The famous Hamilton Cork visits the zoo and Howard attempts to show him his "first sentence". (Charlie)
- Charlie the living bubble-gum attacks the zoo because Hamilton Cork refuses to publish the book under the correct name. (Charlie)
- Howard loses a aquatic display race to "Blind Tom". (Electro)
- Ivan the bear attacks Bob Fossil but is saved by Naboo. (The Hitcher)
